The 7th Visit
This piece has been made by Carly Etherington and Kate Berry. It is a piece that has come from deep exploration into one characters bizarre imaginings and relationships around this. We together enjoy making work that plays with the hilarity tragedy theme. Often with a story, and choreography plays a big part in the work that we make.
These pictures are from our most recent performance at Flourish at the Barbican Theatre, 2011.
We have always enjoyed the dynamic between the two characters in opposition and misunderstanding of each other. This is something we have developed further playing with what the audience knows and characters do not and so forth. Also looking at the relationship between text and movement and exploring the stories of both characters.
